The GolfNorthCarolina.com Team

We're blessed to be North Carolinian's - to live and work within this beautiful and vibrant state and to do so within an industry and sport that we all love and enjoy. GolfNorthCarolina.com has existed since December of 1998 and for the most part simply listed all of the golf courses in the state. At the urging of many, we debuted a brand new promotion in late April of 2009 to focus on taking advantage of the top ranking that our website already holds and to partner with all of the golf courses and local, community business sector to promote the idea of:

1. Increasing rounds of golf played at all of the courses within the state.

2. To keep people IN North Carolina - playing, staying, dining, and doing business in North Carolina.

During these crazy, challenging financial times, all of our North Carolina tourism organizations are working together to promote this concept and by taking GolfNorthCarolina.com to even greater heights through increased rankings, traffic and content - we are dedicated to making every financial partner with our website successful.

Since May 1st, we have experienced unmatched growth in visitors with 54,425 page views, and 6,422 unique visitors in just the first 20 days of May. From May 1st through May 20th we have been found on Google, Yahoo and MSN with 904 different search terms.  These statistics make GolfNorthCarolina.com the most visited and highest ranked golf website in North Carolina - BY FAR! ...and with the content and programming that we have in place, GolfNorthCarolina.com will experience exponential growth in the weeks to come.

Our team is dedicated to working with all of the golf courses in the state to further promote the game of golf in North Carolina and to work with every business sponsor and partner to make their investment in GolfNorthCarolina.com one that pays off many times over.  Thanks to all of our advertisers and business sponsors for getting this new promotion off to a huge success.

Mike Doble - "I've been playing "at" golf for 23 years or so now and find it to be one of greatest, yet most frustrating games known to man. I'm a perennial 18 +/- handicapper. I started the website, GolfNorthCarolina.com back in 1996 due to love of the game and the state."

Brandon Pollock - "Like most golfers, I have a great round, followed by one that isn't very pretty. I enjoy the time spent with good friends and business contacts."

Steve Silver - "I'm enjoying a bit more time on the course these days. I think the most challenging part of the game is definitely the mental aspect of things. Physically it isn't a tough game; but you really have to focus on 'all the little things' that can affect every shot.  That is part of what makes it such a great sport."
